STUDIO BRIEF 2 – ARCHETYPE

Over the next week or so we continued learning fundamental skills whilst getting our next brief which was to create an archetype, which was simply a character for either a film, a game or an animation, but had to incorporate concept art into it. To begin with I started out my research looking at different websites which where suited to concept art and different artists and then tried to narrow it down to looking at concept art that just dealt with character development.

‘The term Archetype was first significantly employed by Carl Jung to signify ancient patterns of personality and relationships that appear across the world's myths, legends and folk tales.’
