Dinosaurs vs Unicorns: Inspirational Companies: Naughty Dog

Linking in with Insomniac Games is the company Naughty Dog, due to the fact that they are development partners. The company Naughty Dog was first set up in 1984 as an independent company before it was bought by Sony Computer Entertainment in 2001. One of the first most popular games that the company produced was Crash Bandicoot in 1996 and then brought out 3 sequels over the next few years to go with the original which where all amazing games, one of which was a racing game. After Crash Bandicoot's success they began work on Jak and Daxter a game very similar to Ratchet and Clank which was set in a futuristic world that followed Jak with his friend Daxter while they set out to not get banished from there home town of Haven City, and again like before a racing game followed the 3 main games. The last big game that they recently produced was one of the biggest games of the 2000's, the series being Uncharted. This followed Nathan Drake as he was almost an Indiana Jones figure as he searched for treasure in different locations around the world; this game series also won multiple awards and this is one of my favourite game companies. They are now currently working on a game entitled The Last of Us, which is going to be a survival horror action-adventure as looks to be similar to the new Walking Dead: Survival Instinct game and Resident Evil series, especially like Resident Evil 5.
