Personal and Professional Practice 3: 'Research' Studio Brief - Sumo Digital

The next company that I wanted to look at was Sumo Digital a games development company that I have recently been looking at a lot more since attending their talk at BAF last year and then coming into our college as well. It seems like a really nice company that has come into the light even more recently and since having a team of about 6 when their company first opened in 2003 there are now over 250 employees!
They seem like a really nice company to work for from the different talks that I have gone to over the last few years, and they all seem hard working and ready to work on any project given to them. Recently they have been doing some work on Little Big Planet 3 a game that is brilliant and looks gorgeous! They have done a really fantastic job on it and this can only come from the dedication of the people that work there.
But one of the games that really got me interested in the company first off is Sonic All Star Racing and Transformed as these are some beautiful games! for me its not the actual game play but the style of the game and how gorgeous it actually looks! The detail that has gone into each racetrack is immense and due to the speed that you actually go at around the track you hardly ever get to see any of it, and its such a waste! The eye to detail is what really draws me to this games company and the overall style to what they produce is just fantastic.
