Module Overview and Schedule: Responsive

During the first brief for our project we were given our module overview which included when we are in and what certain things we would be doing on those days. Around this overview I wanted to fill in the blanks with a schedule that included what I would be doing in this time and how much I will need to have done by certain points. This will hopefully help me with my time keeping for this year as it hasn't been very good in the past and this is something that I definitely need to work on. For this overview, unlike the others, we didn't actually have a lot of timetabled sessions, of which that we did most were just getting on with our work but with aid.

Week 1: Briefing and skills audit
              Pick a live brief

Week 2: Seminar on transmedia
              Pick a live brief

Week 3: Group seminars to identify transmedia
               Pick a live brief

Week 4: Create a proposal for study
              Have a live brief picked by now

Week 5: Work based tutorials
               Create a schedule and come up with initial ideas

Week 6: Work based tutorials
               Finish initial ideas

Week 7 - 8: Continue to work on live brief
                Develop ideas further

Week 9 - 11: Continue to work on live brief
                Research into background and topics relating to the project

Week 11: Continue to work on live brief
                Have final script created

Week 12 - 13: Continue to work on live brief
                Create and finish all concept art

Week 14: Continue to work on live brief
                Storyboard the script and get it ready for filming

Week 15: Continue to work on live brief
                Find audio inspiration ready for the final film

Week 16: Continue to work on live brief
                Have the animatic finished ready to start filming

Week 17 - 20: Continue to work on live brief
                Have filming all done

Week 20 - 22: Continue to work on live brief
                Have editing all done

Week 23 - 24: Continue to work on live brief
                Have sound and music added on

Week 25: Finish off all work ready for presentations and hand in
                Have everything finished and evaluation written

I then also went and made a schedule in Excel as it was easier to see and look at how the weeks panned out. Due to the fact that we had a very long time to do this project meant that we could easily spread everything out and take our time with it, ensuring everything is done to a high standard ready for the submission of not only the college deadline but then also the deadline for the D&AD website.
