Method Statement
Filming: Wednesday 18th December 2013, 9:00am till 4:00pm
Location: Leeds College of Art Lecture Theater
My whole film will be shot here as I require a large space in which to set up the green screen to its maximum height. Due to the nature of my film I do not really have any concerns with filming and probably will not need all the time allocated to me as it will be fairly quick to capture everything.
For my film I only need one actor, which will be Stuart Brown from my
course who will be dressed in normal clothing and then a lab coat as to give the impression that we works or has a laboratory. For the film I do not necessarily need a skilled actor or one
that particularly looks like how I envisioned it as this can easily be
achieved in hair and makeup on filming day. As for the crew I will need
myself and my actor, then a crew of four. In which two people would be
on the lights, one on the camera and one on the microphone and boom mike
for recording the audio.
Equipment:
- Green screen
- Green screen supports
- DSLR camera
- 2 back lights (To go behind the green screen and light from the top)
- 2 fill lights (To go in front of the actor to light him up)
- Multiple tripods
- Sandbags
- Boom mike and sound recorder
- Crane equipment
What will be done on set:
1. The green screen will be set up
2. The lights will be placed in the correct location to light the subject up
3. The actor will go through all of the script ensuring that he remains on the green screen at all times
4. The filming process is carried out
5. The equipment is packed up and the filming is finished
Risk Assessment
Below is the risk assessment that I create for when I was going to be filming in the lecture hall. There were minimal risks for this filming and so we did not need to take any major precautions.
