Below is what I want my final time machine to look like. I have developed this from the six different development designs that I came up with and I am really happy with how it looks. I wanted to keep it simple but make sure that it still has that unusual quality to it and think it looks just right. I initially really wanted to put a door on it but didn't know how I could have put that into my film in the end so in the end I decided that you could just walk in and step onto it. I also wanted to keep it low to the floor so that when I was filming I wouldn't have too many problems with my green screen but it's not to hard to create a step when filming if I need to. I really like the colour scheme used and it definitely looks home made, which is the look I wanted to have, and it looks interesting as well.
I then wanted to show how big my time machine looked compared to my character that was going to be acting. I wanted to ensure that my character could fit into the time machine without it being too big and I also wanted to make sure that when I was filming that it wasn't too big so that I would have to film a shot from really far away without getting any detail in, I think when it actually comes to modelling though I will have to make the door slightly bigger so that my character does not have to bend down to get into the machine.
