PPP2 Inspiration: TT Games

The next games company that I wanted to look at was PPP2 as it is a company that I really like and think the games that they produce are fantastic, even going back before they started to create the LEGO game franchise. I love them back when console gaming began, even without realising that they made half the games that I played growing up. Traveller's Tales is a British video game developer and publisher. It is made up of three separate companies which includes Traveller's Tales, TT Fusion and the publisher TT Games Publishing. Together they make the TT Games franchise which has been going since 2005. What I really like about the company is that they cater for the younger market, specialising in game, like the LEGO franchise, for children.

What I especially like about the company is their involvement in the LEGO games though. I have always been a massive fan, especially of the Harry Potter series and the Pirates of the Caribbean game. I think they are so well thought out and even though they are meant for children they open up to a larger target market without realising, which is something that I would like to consider with the environments that I am making. I want to adopt quite a cartoony element to them and then target them for the younger market. Even though you target game here, it can still be opened up to older generations as I thoroughly enjoy playing through the LEGO games. This could all be down to the completionist inside me and seeing that 100% come up when all your hard work is done is definitely rewarding and not enough games do this anymore.
