Environment Research: Red Dead Redemption

The next game that I wanted to review is Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption as this is a wonderful open world game that has brilliant environments. This game is a western action-adventure game produced in 2010, by Rockstar Games, and follows John Marston, a former outlaw while he joins a gang to get his wife and son back.

The general game play involves a beautiful 3D world that can be explored and interacted with to a great extent as the world is so big. The world is also divided up into different location, which do all look mildly the same due to the fact that it is a western and most of the buildings do look the same. The different in each of the towns though is the difference in the towns buildings and size so there is a good deal to explore in each of the towns. The game of the year addition also came with a DLC pack entitles Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, which included zombies in the wild west which was a very interesting upgrade to the original which also included more graveyards that offered gamers a spookier gaming experience.
