Game Art and Machinima: Finished Walk Cycles

By Meg Sugden and Stuart Brown
Below are the final videos showing our walk cycles, in a video form using our tests for our platypus and raccoon models to which me and Stu created. I mainly did the platypus with input from Stu throughout and then the opposite for the raccoon. This was done by Stu and then I merely helped with any problems he had and also gave advice on what the different cycles should look like, my favourite being the idle for the raccoon as he is just sat on the floor snoring. I really like the final looks to these and think that we have done a great job with animating them in preparation for the final animation which we will be starting next.

Below are the final walk cycles that Stu and Callum made in Unity after doing another quick animation on them. We wanted to have these as interactive turntables so that they can be viewed using the unity web player and then then people can view the whole model and not just the angle we decided to pick. Overall I am very happy with the look of these turn tables and think they look really good.
