Game Art and Machinima: Final Videos

Below is the walkthrough of the environment which I created. I am extremely happy with the final look of it and it looks just how I wanted it to look and I am very happy that it looks just how we designed it. As an environment modeller I am exceptionally happy with the final result and think that the walkthrough demonstrates everything that I wanted to show. We wanted to ensure that we included lots of small details that link in with the universe as a whole and then add these as elements into the environment which I think I did successfully, like with the pirate ship from the Walrus storyline and the hammock which would feature in the Platypus storyline.

Then, below is the final quicktime version of our animation, which was just taken using a screen recording from Unity. I am very happy with our final animation and I am so happy with the final look. Everything works well together and we have successfully produced a fantastic piece of work as a team and done it working together during every aspect of the project. I am particularly happy with the environment, as this is an area that I enjoyed doing the most and I also think the final characters are great, as these are what I modeled as well. The final animation is something that I am really proud of. Even though no one in our group is an animator or strives to be one, we still managed to produce this high-quality animation and set up some very interesting camera angles using our film knowledge from previous projects.
