Personal and Professional Practice 3: 'Position' Studio Brief - Preparing My Portfolio

This week I got in contact with a person in the Industry called Scott Elliot, someone who deals with other companies mainly with animation, but he also has some contacts within the games industry. He asked to meet me for lunch so that we could talk about everything that I was interested in within the games industry and where I thought that I would fit in. I expressed interest in different games which I liked and played and companies which I liked. He asked for me to send my portfolio to him, for which I didn't currently have so I spent the next week gathering my work together and creating boards to present my work on to make them more appealing. I then sent these to Scott along with my CV and a covering letter to go with it, now I'm just waiting to hear back about a possible placement in a company or at least a tour around to be able to see how they work and operate.
