VFX Initial Ideas Breakdown

The first thing that I wanted to do for this module was get a basic overview of the different areas that I could go down before settling on one idea. Below is my mind map of basic ideas that I could look at and follow. I wanted to use the knowledge that I got from the previous PPP2 session to be able to use bright colours, images were possible and curvy lines to help stimulate my brain into the thought process; as it was difficult to come up with ideas.

 Following on from this mind map I have decided that I want to go down the route of animals, and then looking more into dinosaurs, as for me this is a very interesting topic and I am already a huge fan of them, as it fascinates me how something that big lived on a planet before even humans did and how only a small part of them remains and we have to fill in the blanks about them. In terms of dinosaur related films, there has only ever really been Jurassic Park, that has been a success and it would be nice to look at that for ideas about how to create something really impressive for my 1 minute film.
